Bridging governance, processes, people, and technology
STS translates institutional requirements into practical workflows and automations that reduce manual work and create more capacity for mission fulfillment.

My background in political science and public administration grounds my understanding of how governance becomes operational practice. Bylaws, accreditation standards, policies, and institutional requirements must be translated into clear ownership, approval paths, repeatable procedures, transparent records, and systems that connect daily operations to mission fulfillment. Across more than a decade in program management and operations, I have applied that understanding to the systems that carry the work: how information is collected, tasks are assigned and routed, requests move through approval paths, records are maintained across applications, exceptions are handled, and completion is documented.
Over the past nine years, I have used technology within these environments to manage programs, strengthen SOPs, redesign workflows, connect information across applications, and automate repetitive administrative work that consumes staff time, slows operations, and creates opportunities for avoidable error. Working across operations and technology has given me a practical understanding of how institutional requirements, process design, and technical systems must function together.
STS works with organizations already prepared to automate workflows, improve processes, and modernize their operations. I provide the dedicated capacity to design and implement those solutions while daily work continues. Technology should be designed for the institution’s operating reality, not require the institution to reorganize itself around a platform. STS translates those institutional requirements and operational realities into practical systems that clarify ownership, connect applications, automate repetitive work, strengthen consistency and visibility, and include documentation the organization can continue to use after handoff.

How I work
I begin by making the operating logic visible. Before technology is selected or configured, I define the current workflow, ownership, decision rights, approvals, handoffs, exception paths, records, and institutional requirements. From there, I design the future workflow and determine where technology and automation can remove repetitive work, connect information, reduce avoidable error, and improve visibility while preserving the judgment that should remain with people.
Once the future workflow is approved, I configure, connect, and test the technology in agreed increments while the existing operation continues. The system is delivered with documentation and a live handoff so the organization understands what was built, how it works, and how to continue using it.
Principles
What guides the work
Technology should serve the full institutional ecosystem of people, policies, processes, records, and connected systems.
Automation should relieve people of repetitive and laborious work so they can focus on mission fulfillment.
Process design should make ownership, decisions, handoffs, and exceptions transparent.
Operational systems should strengthen consistency, continuity, and institutional knowledge.
